Talented 5 year old gelding

Talented, genuine and ready for his next home.

Slim is a lovely 5-year-old full Connemara gelding who has been professionally produced and has given us two fantastic years. He is now ready for a new rider to continue his education and fulfil his potential.

Broken as a three-year-old before being allowed time to mature, Slim has since gained valuable experience across a variety of disciplines. He has hunted regularly, attended hunt canters, competed at training shows, gymkhanas, IPS Connemara classes and Performance Classes, proving himself to be a brave, careful and willing pony.

He has competed successfully in showjumping from 90cm to 1m and has shown plenty of promise as a future performance pony.

Due to work commitments, he only attended two RDS Connemara Performance qualifiers, narrowly missing qualification by just six marks on one occasion and three marks on another, producing clear rounds at both events and demonstrating his quality and potential.

Slim has always been straightforward to produce, with a kind temperament and an excellent attitude to his work. More recently, he has been enjoyed by an 11-year-old girl for arena hires, hacking and fun outings, where he has continued to prove himself to be genuine, sensible and easy to ride.

He would make an excellent all-round pony, hunting pony, working hunter or performance prospect. He has all the foundations in place for someone to take him on and enjoy.
