Walter - 4 yr old 15hh gelding

A very smart 4-year-old grey Connemara gelding standing at 15hh / 153cm, with three lovely, floaty and balanced paces and a naturally uphill way of going.

He has competed in 70cm eventing, showjumping, combined training and dressage, with consistent placings. He scored 67% in his first Prelim test and has plenty of scope over a fence.

He is honest to everything he is asked to jump, forward-going without being strong or silly, and beautifully balanced in walk, trot and canter for his age.

At home he is kind, genuine and straightforward. He hacks alone past farm machinery on a working farm, hacks happily in company, and has been up the gallops with others without putting a hoof wrong.

He is easy to do in every way and is good to clip, shoe, load, catch, wash and handle. He will happily stand for attention and grooming and is a lovely horse to have around.

With his movement, temperament and versatility, he could make a super grassroots event horse, has enough presence for the show ring, or would suit a riding club home wanting to enjoy a bit of everything.

Although only four, he is mature and sensible for his age.
