148cm JD Showjumping Gelding

Silver is a very smart 6-year-old Connemara gelding by Rocklawn Elvis (Silver Shadow), measured at 148cm for 2026.

This is a sad sale of a talented, kind and extremely willing sports pony who has been slowly and correctly produced by a junior rider. He only started his British Showjumping career around six months ago and is now beginning to step up to Newcomers, with plenty of potential still to come.

Silver has already achieved all of his British Novice double clears for 2027, qualified for British Novice Second Rounds, and qualified for two finals at Blue Chip 2026. He has also competed successfully at the summer Pony Premier shows, Scottish Home Pony and Welsh Home Pony.

For a young pony, he is very straightforward and genuinely wants to do the job. He has established flatwork with three balanced paces, produces a smart test and is also brave and confident across country.

His versatility means he could suit a number of homes, whether for British Showjumping, Pony Club, eventing or as a quality Working Hunter Pony prospect.

He hacks happily both alone and in company and particularly enjoys trips to the beach.

Silver is easy to manage in every way, including clipping, travelling and with the farrier. He is an absolute gentleman on the yard with a lovely, friendly temperament.

A really exciting pony who should have a very bright future in the right hands.
