Talented 7 yr old 13.2hh gelding

7yo gelding | 140cm | SJI measured 138cm (2026)

Ernie is an exceptionally talented little pony with a huge amount of scope and ability.

By Furbo Finnard, out of a mare by Jack’s Promise, he combines quality breeding with a seriously exciting performance record and plenty more to come.

He was 2nd in the U16 Ridden Connemara class at Tullamore Show 2026 and has all the scope to go on and jump top tracks.

Ernie rides exceptionally well on the flat. He is responsive to the aids without being strong, is ridden in a snaffle at all times and produces a lovely dressage test.

Despite all that ability, he is exceptionally quiet and straightforward. He is equally happy jumping bigger tracks or doodling around 60cm with a novice rider. He has never bucked or reared.

He has cross-country schooled on numerous occasions and would also make a very exciting eventing prospect.

Ernie hacks alone and in company and is unfazed by traffic. He is excellent for the farrier and will stand loose to be clipped.

Straight and correct. Vettings welcome.

Transport can be arranged.
