148/15hh stunning grey Connemara gelding, 8 years old

We have owned Oran since May 2021 when he came over from Ireland. He was backed and turned away and brought on slowly he had the whole summer of 2023 off as I broke my foot and was unable to ride. This is an extremely difficult decision as I know he would be the right pony/horse for us in a few years time, but this year has proven difficult to compete three. My daughter is 12 years old and we have decided to concentrate on her 13.2/14hh ponies. I have ridden oran up until last year and only a handful of times this year due to work and bringing up other kids who are not horsey means my time is stretched. 

Oran gets compliments everywhere he goes, stands out in the ring. He won the intro dressage Connemara championships in Warwickshire in 2025 with me riding him. He has not done any dressage this year due to other commitments. My daughter has competed him up to 80cm showjumping. He has attended pony club rally’s, pony & riding club camp, stay away shows, pleasure rides, trips to the beach. 

Oran excels in any sphere……working hunters, showing, dressage, show jumping, eventing. He has never been affiliated in any discipline and is fit and ready to go. He is good to shoe, clip, load and easy to handle in every way. With having a lovely temperament he is a pleasure to own. He will hack out alone but it is not something he has done on a regular basis.
