Murvey George

George qualified for both HOYS and LIHS in 2021, finishing 8th at HOYS.
He then spent the following five years at stud before returning to ridden duties this year. Since coming back under saddle, he has consistently finished in the top four in the handful of HOYS qualifiers he has contested, competing successfully in both Open and Junior classes.
Recent results include:
- 1st Open Ridden NPS Qualifier and Reserve Champion at the Northern Connemara Show
- 3rd Scottish Horse Show – Junior
- 3rd NPS Area 7 – Junior
- 4th Three Counties Show – Open
- 4th BSPS Summer Championships – Junior
- 6th Cheshire County – Open
George is a dream to deal with and a total gentleman on the ground. He needs minimal working in at shows and gives a light, push-button ride.
He would ideally suit an experienced mother-and-daughter share home.
Away from the show ring, George loves hacking and farm rides, will happily pop a fence, and with his extravagant movement could also excel in dressage.
George has been owned since he was a weaned foal, so this has not been an easy decision. With his children now waiting in the wings, the time has come for him to make someone else’s dreams come true.
